My personal library has gotten a tad bit out of hand. Which is why one of my goals for this year was to read 24 books. I didn’t always love to read, in fact, it used to be something I would dread doing. In college, I read a book that completely flipped a switch in my head. I was really looking forward to seeing The Hunger Games, but my Fiance insisted that I had to read the book before he’d go with me to see the movie. I’m so glad he did because that series ended up being one of my favorites. It was that book which got me to start reading again. The summer of my senior year of college, I read 10 books. I know it may not sound like much, but it was a HUGE deal to me.
Since that summer, I haven’t read as many books. So as part of my 2017 New Year’s Goals and Resolutions, I’m challenging myself to read 24 books this year. To help keep myself accountable, I will be hosting a book club each month to discuss these books! It’s pretty hard to host a book club for a book you haven’t read, so I figured what better source of accountability? If you are interested in participating in the book club, or are just curious what I’m reading this year, here are the books for my 2017 Book Club.
2017 Book Club Reading List
I’m really looking forward to working my way through my library, and also reading some highly recommended books. If you’re interested in joining my book club, join our Facebook group here. We’ll be discussing the books in great detail each week.
