Kohl’s is one of my favorite places to shop for clothes and accessories. The quality of their clothes is good, and I can always find something that fits my style. If you’ve ever set foot in a Kohl’s store, you might be overwhelmed by the price tag. I’ve seen tops and dresses for $80 or more before! If you’re looking to get the best deal at Kohl’s, you’ve come to the right place. I’m going to share with you my tips and tricks to save BIG at Kohl’s
22 Tricks to Save BIG at Kohl’s
1. Sign up for Email Alerts
When you sign up for Kohl’s email sale alerts, you will receive a 15% off coupon to use on your next purchase in store or online. You’ll also receive email updates about sales, free shipping offers, and promo codes straight to your inbox.
2. Search for Kohl’s Promo and Coupon Codes
Before you hit checkout, be sure to check RetailMeNot for promo codes to use. I was able to save 20% on my most recent purchase, just by searching for a promo code first!
3. Sign up for a Kohl’s Charge card
Kohl’s rewards Kohl’s Charge cardholders by giving them special coupons and discounts throughout the year. Cardholders get at least 12 special offers of 15-30% off every year. When you sign up you get an extra 25% off on your first day’s Kohl’s Charge purchase, and another 15% off when your card arrives in the mail. Please keep in mind that a Kohl’s Charge card is a store credit card and you should ONLY sign up for one if you are able to pay off the balance in full every month, and can handle the responsibility of owning a store credit card.
4. Use In-Store Kiosks to Order Online Merchandise
Kohl’s stores have in-store kiosks located throughout the store. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in the store, check out the kiosk to find the item online. In-store kiosks will take coupons, Kohl’s cash, and rewards! Plus they offer free shipping on any order.
5. Earn Kohl’s Cash
For every $50 you spend, you will earn $10 in Kohl’s cash to be used at a later date! Kohl’s Cash is store credit that is usually valid a week after your purchase and can be used online or in the store.
6. Stack Store Coupons
As long as the dates on the coupons are valid and the fine print allows it, you can combine dollar-off and percent-off coupons. You can even stack these with a free shipping coupon in some cases!
7. Price Match Competitor Stores
Kohl’s will price match their competitors as long as they have a current date on the ad. This applies to in-store items only.

You earn 10% rewards on gifts purchased through your registry, save an extra 15% on the items left on your registry for up to three months after your wedding, free gifts just for registering, plus your guests save 20% on a $100 in-store purchase from your registry. If you receive $1,500 worth of wedding gifts from your registry, that’s $150 of rewards!
10. Be on the Lookout for Gold Star Clearance Items
The deep discounts will be on Gold Star Clearance items. These items are as high as 80% off the original ticket price! Combined with Kohl’s cash, coupon codes, or rewards you could pay next to nothing for these items.
11. Watch the Price on Your Purchases
Customers have two weeks to take their receipts back to Kohl’s and get a price adjustment on any merchandise that went on sale after they purchased it. Some restrictions may apply, so don’t be shy asking an associate.
